About Barrett Graphics

Barrett Graphics was founded in 1996 by Peter Lucas. Starting out primarily doing weddings, Barrett Graphics began doing studio work in 1999, and went fully digital in 2006. We use cutting edge digital imaging products from Nikon and Adobe in our workflow.

Our focus is to create unique portraiture that reflects the personality of the subject. We pride ourselves in our bright, vibrant color images and our timeless black and whites. Themed photo shoots became popular over the past 5 years and the most common styles in 2009 are maternity, pinup, and what you might call “pajama glam” (an informal, less “elicit” version of boudoir photography). We also do many model portfolios for professional and aspiring models in the Kansas City metro.

Peter no longer shoots weddings, preferring to focus on studio work, but Barrett Graphics employs experienced professional wedding photographers who can handle your special day with the kind of care you expect, in the long tradition of Barrett Graphics.
